The corporate culture over at Twitter is a toxic blend of anti-free speech and hate, admitted a senior company engineer in a new undercover exposé from Project Veritas.
Siru Murugesan told James O’Keefe’s staff without knowing it that the tech giant he works for is filled with “hate” for Elon Musk over his recently announced takeover of the far-left social media platform.
The chasm between what seasoned Twitter employees like Murugesan believe and Musk’s recent bout of pro-First Amendment rhetoric is so great that Murugesan described it like this:
“Twitter does not believe in free speech … Elon believes in free speech.”
Murugesan is personally very upset about a potential acquisition by Musk, telling Project Veritas that the company up until this point has functioned on an ethos of communism, with which he apparently agrees.
“Our jobs are at stake,” Murugesan said about Musk taking over. “[Musk’s] a capitalist and we weren’t really operating as capitalists – more like socialists.”
Following Musk’s announcement about wanting to buy Twitter, employees at Twitter went insane, Murugesan further admitted.
“We did all we could to, like, revolt against it,” he said. “A lot of employees were revolting against it.”
Twitter started out fairly accepting of most points of view, at least in the very beginning. Over time, however, things changed dramatically to the point where Twitter actually banned a sitting president, Donald Trump, from tweeting on its platform.
Now with the Musk announcement, there is a small chance that Twitter will once again become a place of tolerance for different beliefs, which Murugesan says simply will not work.
“I don’t know if two parties can truly coexist on one platform,” he told undercover reporters.
There is probably some truth to this, to be fair. The ethos of coexist might sound nice to some people, but it is entirely impractical and, quite frankly, improbable in light of the current state of our world.
Many would argue that the political, social, ideological, and especially spiritual rifts between people are just too great, and the chasm too wide, to ever find common ground anymore. This country, and much of the rest of the world, has become so ideologically split between “red” and “blue” that there may be no turning back.
Twitter employees seem to know this full well, and are worried that Musk’s takeover will destroy their little habitat of far-leftist, which is what Twitter has become. Because of this, many of them are now binge eating or threatening to quit in protest.
“They’re like, ‘this would be my last day if it happens …’ a lot has changed,” Murugesan explained about the current state of corporate morale at Twitter. “Like, we’re stress eating a lot. Like, we’re all worried for our jobs.”
Twitter’s board, Murugesan added, did what it could to protect itself. They “acted on their best interests,” he said, “’cause they didn’t want to get sued.”
“They’re always looking out for themselves at the end of the day,” he added.
Project Veritas reached out to Twitter for comment, but as of this writing had not received a response.
A Natural News reader pointed out that censorship is still “alive and well” at Twitter, despite Musk’s announcement. This reader posted the following comment about mRNA “vaccines,” which resulted in a ban from the platform:
“mRNA injections are loaded with VERIFIED graphene, AIDS, hep, cancer, parasites and nanobots. eg. Video: Graphene Oxide: A Toxic Substance in the Vial of the COVID-19 mRNA Vaccine? By Ricardo Delgado and Prof Michel Chossudovsky
Global Research, January 19, 2022.”
